Sylivia Muhindo

Leader/Matron

Sylivia Muhindo is the Leader/Matron of our Ntandi Orphanage Home. She is married to Mugoba Arnold, and together they have two children: their son, Mailes, and their daughter, Mailine.

Sylivia, was born in the remote village of Kiddede in the Bundibugyo district of Western Uganda. She grew up in a polygamous family as the daughter of her father’s third wife and has one older brother. Despite limited resources, her mother ensured that Sylivia and her brother received an education, and she completed both primary and secondary school.

When her family could no longer afford further education, Sylivia started a mobile money business for one year to earn funds for college. She went on to attend Rosamystica College in Fort Portal, where she studied Record Management. After getting married, Sylivia and her husband prayed for God to guide their lives. In 2023, their prayers were answered when she joined Project Hope Uganda as the leader of the Ntandi Orphanage Home. She is deeply passionate about caring for vulnerable children, dedicating her heart and energy to creating a safe, nurturing, and loving environment for those in her care.
