Call for Donation

Emme has been a pillar of support for Project Hope Uganda, even before the organization became official. She has consistently volunteered her time, helping prepare for missions and supporting programs in countless ways. In 2013, she joined our penpal sponsorship program and currently sponsors five orphaned children, delighting in sending pictures, scriptures, and heartfelt letters. One of her most treasured possessions is a t-shirt autographed by all the children she sponsors.
Recently, Emme founded and leads our sports club for students in Ntandi, providing fun, mentorship, and community engagement. She has traveled to Uganda, where she met her sponsored children in person and deepened her connection with the community she supports.
Originally from the Oregon Coast, Emme developed a passion for international communities while performing with her jazz ensemble at EXPO in Vancouver, BC. After graduating from Western Oregon University, she started a career in the transportation industry in Portland. She has also traveled to Japan, France, and Germany, experiencing diverse cultures and connecting with people worldwide.
Emme enjoys spending time outdoors—whether in the mountains, rivers, or oceans—and lives in Washington State with her two cats, a dog, and a supportive partner. She is blessed with over 20 Godchildren and one God-grandchild. Emme’s heart for Uganda continues to inspire others, and she encourages everyone to get involved, as her work with Project Hope Uganda has brought immense meaning and fulfillment to her life.
