After several years of effort, we successfully purchased land in the village of Kiko in September 2024 to establish ourBusiness Center. Today, the center is complete and operational, providing both workspace and living facilities for vocational graduates. It serves as a hub where young professionals can practice their trades, gain real-world experience, and confidently transition into the workforce, while contributing to the economic growth of the community.
Our Business Center in Kiko is now complete and fully operational. After completing their vocational training, students reside here and practice their trades for one year, gaining hands-on experience in a supportive environment. The center hosts a variety of income-generating enterprises, including a hair salon, a pharmacy, a soap-making business, a boda boda repair workshop, and plans for a tailoring shop.
This initiative ensures that graduates not only strengthen their skills but also contribute to the community while preparing for independent livelihoods. By combining education with practical experience, the Kiko Business Center creates lasting dignity, opportunity, and hope for young people in Uganda.
