At Project Hope Uganda, our team of six community health workers serves three remote areas, providing vital education to students and community members on puberty, HIV, sexually transmitted infections, family planning, and debunking harmful medical myths. By fostering understanding and awareness, we help individuals make informed choices about their health and wellbeing.
Recognizing the need to reach vulnerable populations, we have expanded our outreach to include sex workers, offering condoms, education, and guidance to encourage safer practices and explore alternative livelihoods. Our approach emphasizes respect, empowerment, and practical solutions that help individuals improve their health outcomes and life circumstances.
Through this program, we empower communities with knowledge, promote healthy behaviors, and reduce the spread of preventable diseases. By combining education, resources, and compassionate guidance, we align with Project Hope Uganda’s mission of dignity, opportunity, and hope, creating lasting impact for individuals and families across the region.
