Since opening our orphanage in 2012, Project Hope Uganda has cared for over 100 children, providing them with a safe, loving home and meeting their essential needs, including food, shelter, and school fees. Our goal is not just to provide for their immediate needs, but to give each child a foundation for a brighter future filled with hope, stability, and opportunity.
Recognizing the need to prepare older students for independent living and gainful employment, we established a Vocational Home in 2016. This program equips young adults with practical, marketable skills while continuing to offer mentorship and individualized support. Students receive hands-on training in trades such as tailoring, welding, hairdressing, motorcycle repair, nursing, and more.
The Vocational Home provides more than technical skills; it fosters discipline, confidence, and self-reliance in a nurturing environment. Through this one-on-one guidance and real-world training, students are empowered to step confidently into adulthood, pursue careers, and contribute positively to their communities.
By combining care, education, and vocational training, Project Hope Uganda is not only transforming lives but also helping to build stronger, more resilient communities across Bundibugyo, Kabarole, and Kasese. Every child who passes through our programs leaves equipped not just to survive—but to thrive.
