Our vocational program was created to help students learn a trade after secondary school—or earlier for those who struggle in traditional academics. Students move into our home in Fort Portal, where all their basic needs are provided. From there, they attend training either off-campus at a local trade school or onsite at an established business.
Before beginning formal training, each student selects three areas to job shadow based on their interests and abilities. This exploration helps them discover which trade best fits their strengths and long-term goals. Vocational programs range from six months to three years, depending on the field of study.
After completing their training, students either seek employment or transition to our Business Center, where they can continue gaining experience and strengthening their skills before entering the workforce.
