Mugoba Arnold was born in the remote village of Bulama in the Bundibugyo district of Western Uganda. He is 28 years old and married to Muhindo Sylvia, the matron of the Ntandi orphanage. Together, they have two children: their son, Mailes Danold, age 3, and their daughter, Mailine, born in 2024.
Arnold is the sixth of ten children in a Christian family. With the support of his sister and brother-in-law, a missionary from Australia, as well as his parents, he was able to complete his education. He attended Green Hill SS Kyamulinwa-Masaka for his A-Level studies and went on to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education at Bugema University.
After the passing of his mother in 2022, Arnold began volunteering as a teaching aid at Three Angels High School in 2023. Shortly afterward, he and his wife were given the opportunity to join Project Hope Uganda, where Arnold has flourished in leadership roles. He now serves as Director of the Ntandi Orphanage, oversees our 7 toddler programs, and coordinates our sports initiatives.
Having experienced life’s hardships firsthand, Arnold deeply values his work, dedicating himself to supporting Uganda’s most vulnerable children and families with compassion, care, and faith.
